Cookie Policy
Last updated: March, 19 - 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Terran Labs BV ("Tuplex", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website at tuplex.ai or use our platform (the "Service").
This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function, improve efficiency, and provide information to website operators.
Types of cookies by duration:
- Session cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
Types of cookies by origin:
- First-party cookies are set by the website you are visiting (i.e., by Tuplex).
- Third-party cookies are set by a domain other than the one you are visiting (e.g., authentication or error-tracking providers).
We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage, which allow us to store small amounts of data in your browser. References to "cookies" in this policy include these similar technologies unless otherwise specified.
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes, organized by category:
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Service to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as logging in or submitting forms.
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Supabase | Authentication session token (JWT). May be split into chunked cookies .0, .1, etc. when the token exceeds browser size limits. | Session |
_csrf | Tuplex | Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protection using the double-submit pattern. | Session |
Legal basis: These cookies are strictly necessary for the provision of the Service and do not require your consent (Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive; Recital 32 GDPR).
2.2 Functional Cookies
These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalization, such as remembering your last selected workspace or sidebar layout.
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
last_org_id | Tuplex | Remembers your last selected organization so you are returned to it on your next visit. | 12 months |
sidebar_state | Tuplex | Remembers whether the navigation sidebar is expanded or collapsed. | 7 days |
Legal basis: Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
2.3 Local Storage and Session Storage
In addition to cookies, we use browser local storage and session storage for functional purposes. These are not sent to our servers with each request but persist data locally in your browser.
Local storage:
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
theme | Stores your UI theme preference (light, dark, or system). | Until cleared |
org-preferences | Stores your current organization and space selection. | Until cleared |
panel-widths | Stores your preferred panel widths for the session and inspector views. | Until cleared |
Session storage (cleared when you close the browser tab):
| Key | Purpose |
|---|---|
tuplex:thread:*:lastStreamId | Tracks the last received stream event so the application can reconnect without losing messages. |
tuplex:task-composer-prefs | Stores your task composer preferences (selected model, connectors, etc.) for the current session. |
Legal basis: These are functionally necessary for the Service and do not require your consent (Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive).
2.4 Analytics and Marketing Cookies
We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. We do not use services such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar marketing tools. No personal data is collected for advertising purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
Some cookies are placed by third-party services that we use to operate the Service. We do not control the setting of these cookies. The following third parties may set cookies or process data through the Service:
| Third Party | Purpose | Privacy Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Authentication and session management. Sets sb-*-auth-token cookies to maintain your logged-in session. | supabase.com/privacy |
| Sentry | Error tracking and performance monitoring. The Sentry SDK runs in the browser to capture and report application errors. Sentry does not set cookies but may process error data that includes device and browser information. | sentry.io/privacy |
Where third-party services result in the transfer of personal data outside the EEA, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, as described in our Privacy Policy (Section 6: International Data Transfers).
4. Cookie Consent
4.1 How We Obtain Your Consent
When you first visit our website, you will see a cookie banner that allows you to:
- Accept all cookies — enables all cookie categories;
- Reject all non-essential cookies — only strictly necessary cookies are set;
- Customize your preferences — choose which categories of cookies to enable.
Non-essential cookies (functional) are not set until you provide explicit consent. The "Accept" and "Reject" options are presented with equal visual prominence.
4.2 How to Withdraw or Change Your Consent
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by:
- Clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of our website;
- Adjusting your browser settings (see Section 5 below).
Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
4.3 Consent Record
We record your consent preferences, including the date, time, scope, and method of consent. Consent preferences expire after 12 months, after which you will be asked to renew your choices.
5. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
Most web browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings. You can typically:
- View which cookies are stored on your device;
- Delete individual cookies or all cookies;
- Block cookies from specific or all websites;
- Block third-party cookies;
- Accept all cookies;
- Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is set.
Please note that blocking or deleting cookies may impact your experience of the Service, and some features may not function correctly. In particular, deleting authentication cookies will sign you out.
Browser-specific instructions:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies
5.1 Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. Because we do not use analytics or marketing cookies, there is no tracking behaviour to disable; our Service operates the same way regardless of the DNT signal.
We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out request where required by applicable law (including the CCPA).
6. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Material changes will be communicated through our cookie banner or website.
